"Richard's show was a good one to start off with. He did a fabulous job and has done this for decades. He really understands how to work with children"
Kat Davis, director of Union County Library

Welcome to our website!

The Reptileman has been working with reptiles for 27 years. In 1991 Richard developed an educational and entertaining presentation for children to learn from and enjoy. In 1988 the Reptileman also developed a surgical procedure relating to venomous snakes called an Adenectomy. The removal of the venom glands has enabled Richard to utilize this group of reptiles in a safe professional manner.

I so hope we can arrange something. I've been waiting 5 years for my little guy to be old enough for this party, and my reptile-enthusiast brother will be visiting from East Coast. You do a wonderful show, and provide a great service. Cheers,

Reptile Man-

I don’t know if my wife, Sheila had sent you any pictures of Luke’s party this past weekend, but I must say we were all quite thoroughly impressed to say the least. J  Word traveled fast to his school, friends, and our co-workers.  Your presentation and knowledge of the reptiles was outstanding and it’s all Luke and his friends…and their parents are talking about!  Luke’s already put on his own “Reptile Man” show several times since the party.

Anyway I just wanted to share a few pictures and say thank you so much for making my son’s party the best!  Take care and God bless.

"In wildness is the preservation of the world"

Henry David Thoreau

There was an Indian
Chief who had four sons.
He wanted his sons to learn not to judge things too
quickly.
So he sent them each on a quest, in turn,
to go and look at a
pear tree that was a great distance away.
The first son went in the Winter,
the second in the Spring,
the third in Summer, and the youngest son in the
Fall.
When they had all gone and come back, he called them
together to
describe what they had seen.
The first son said that the tree
was ugly,
bent, and twisted.
The second son said no, it was covered
with green buds
and full of promise.
The third son disagreed; he said it was
laden with
blossoms that smelled so sweet
and looked so beautiful, it was the
most
graceful thing he had ever seen.
The last son disagreed with all of
them;
he said it was ripe and drooping with fruit,
full of life and
fulfillment.
The Chief then explained to his
sons that they were all
right,
because they had each seen but only
one season in the tree's
life.
He told them that you cannot
judge a tree, or a person,
by only
one season,
And that the essence of who
they are and the pleasure,
joy,
and love that come from that life
can only be measured at the
end,
when all the seasons are up.
If you give up when it's Winter,
you
will miss the promise of
Spring, the beauty of Summer,
and the fulfillment
of Fall.

Moral of the story:
Don't let the pain of one
season
destroy the joy of all the rest.
Don't judge life by one difficult
season.
Persevere through the difficult patches
and better times are sure
to come some time.

Speak Kindly, &
Leave the Rest to God
Happiness keeps You
Sweet,
Trials keep You Strong,
Sorrows keep You Human,
Failures keep
You Humble,
Success keeps You Glowing,
But Only God keeps You
Going!
